CENTENNIAL ISSUE
NEW ZEALAND HERALD SPECIAL SUPPLEMENT. The proprietors of the New Zealand Herald and Weekly’ News have over a period of many years set a standard for other publications in the Dominion in regard to special issues, and the latest, w’hich is a 92-pago supplement to the Herald for 22nd January (next Monday) is a worthy production for it provides a very fine souvenir of the Centennial of New’ Zealand. The story’ of New Zealand from its foundation exactly a century’ ago to the present year is told in interesting style, replete with illustrations, and narrates outstanding events in this country’s history of development and progress.
The publication is convincing proof that no pains have been spared in the collection and production of this illustrative record, W’hich should add greatly to the interest and historical value of the supplement. Local booksellers advise that only one edition wi’l be published, and a copy wall be delivered free to all regular subscribers.
