LOCAL MEN FOR MILITARY SERVICE. The Military Medical Board sitting at Te Awamutu Town Hall to-day, dealt with a batch of volunteers for active military service, and it was rather remarkable that most of the men passed fit were married. A total of sixteen men were passed fit, and five others were temporarily unfit, each of the five requiring some minor attention, chiefly to the teeth. Those passed fit were:— P. A.
