PASSED FIT
LOCAL MEN FOR MILITARY SERVICE. The Military Medical Board sitting at Te Awamutu Town Hall to-day, dealt with a batch of volunteers for active military service, and it was rather remarkable that most of the men passed fit were married. A total of sixteen men were passed fit, and five others were temporarily unfit, each of the five requiring some minor attention, chiefly to the teeth. Those passed fit were:— P. A. Tye, Te Awamutu. J. Bogun, Arohena. F. Ford, Te Kawa. H. Freeman, Arohena. F. I. Mclntyre, Paepaerahe. w F. C. Neville, Paepaerahe. R. S. Tollemache, Paepaerahe. E. C. Merton, Kihikihi. F. H. D’Arcy, Parawera. P. Lawson, Pukeatua. H. Graham, Honikiwi.
