Tne first shoot, an eye opener, six birds, was won by L. Zimmerman, wno shot the possible. The final shoot tor tne Drysdale Cup six birds, saw T. Hail and A. iviarsu each shoot the possible; tney divided me sweep. Hah is tne holder of tne cup this season, with a score 01 23 tb, 6,6, 6) over the four shoots. K. Trimble finished second witn 21 (5, 5,6, 5). A x 5 shoot, twelve birds (the prize donated by tne president, Mr W. Parish) was won by T. McMillan with 11 birds. The following each accounted tor ten birds, and tney divided the second prize: J. Pollard, M. Otway, A. Marsn, R. Trimble, D. Mitchell, W. Adams and A. A. McLean. A trophy shoot of nine birds (Mr T. P. Quick’s trophy) saw G. Tarr and J. Pollard tie with eight birds. In the shoot off Tarr won on the ninth bird. A Ballistite Cup contest, nine birds, the winner to receive a miniature cup presented by Mr E. Mulgrew, resulted in a tie between W. Lentfer, G. I. Pollard and J. Pollard, with eight birds each. In the shoot off J. Pollard won on the fourteenth bird, G. 1. Pollard being second. The sixth event was a novice shoot, five birds, in which G. A. Pollard and ,W. Adams tied with three birds each. In the shot off .Pollard won on the fourth bird. An awkward squad match, five birds, was won by C. Prince with four birds. Mclvor was second with three birds. A trophy shoot for Mr P. Ellis' trophy, six birds, saw T. Hall, M. Otway and R. Trimble tie with the possible. In the shoot-off Hall won on the eleventh bird. Another trophy shoot, for Messrs E. H. Cucksey and J. Sklenars’ trophies, six birds, saw M. Otway and B. Dold shot the possible, and in the shootoff B. Dold won on the fourteenth bird. T. McMillan and A. Marsh tied with the possible in a special six bird sweep; they divided. A gimcrack match, six birds, was won by D. Mitchell and A. Marsh, each with five birds; they divided. The final event of a very interesting day was a double rise match, four pairs of birds. A Marsh smashed six birds to win, and D. Mitchell was second with five.
