WAIKATO HOSPITAL
REVISED LEVIES ANNOUNCED. LOCAL BODY CONTRIBUTIONS. As a result of alterations in capital value's of several of the districts of the local authorities contributing to the Waikato Hospital Board,' the levies on the bodies for the 1939-40 year have been amended. The new levies, with the original figure assessed given in parentheses, were adopted at the meeting of the Hospital Board yesterday, and include: Otorohanga County, £2730 13s lOd (£2729 3s Id); Kawhia County £786 4s 3d (£785 15s sd); Otorohanga Town District, £2Bl 12s 6d (£2Bl 9s 3d); Te Awamutu Borough, £1139 5s 2d (£ll3B 12s 4d; Waipa County, £7922 18s 5d (£7918 8s 8d).
The total levy is now £62,540 12s, the original levy being £62,548 12s.
