DAMAGE AT GOLF LINKS
MAORIS IN TROUBLE. Two brothers, Joseph and William Nikora, of the Otorohanga and Otewa districts, were charged before justices at Otorohanga yesterday with committing mischief by breaking a window at the Otorohanga Golf Club’s house on the links. As Constable McDonnell stated that other charges were pending, he asked for a remand. Both youths were remanded to appear this (Friday) afternoon, bail being fixed at £25 in each ease.
