RATES, 1939-1940. is hereby given that it is the intention of the Otorohanga County Council, in pursuance of its powers under Sections 120 and 121 of The Counties Act, 1920, and Section 54 of The Rating Act, 1926, and Section 52 of The Hospital and Charitable Institutions Act, 1926, and any able Institutions Act, 1926, and any amendments thereto respectively, and all other powers (if any) enabling it in that behalf, on TUESDAY, 27th June, 1939, to make and levy the following rates for the year commenced on Ist April, 1939, and ending on the 31st March, 1940: 1. General Rates on the ratable (unimproved) value of all ratable property as appearing on the Valuation Rolls for the time being in force for the various Ridings of the Otorohanga County as follows: — HONIKIWI 3d MANGAORONGO Hd TE RAG-AiMOA 1 13-16 d WAIPA Hd WHAREPAPA < lid 2. A Hospital Board Rate of thir-teen-sixteenths of a penny in the pound upon the unimproved value of all ratable property as appearing on the Valuation Roll for the time being in force for the County of Otorohanga. The whole of the said rates in each case to be payable in cash in one sum on the Bth day of September, 1939, at the County Offices, Ballance Street, Otorohanga, to the Council’s rate collector or such person as may from time to time be appointed to collect same.
