NO SECURITY
INDUSTRY ENDANGERED “There is no security in industry to-day in New Zealand. Who would invest money in industry here today? The present condition of labour dominance makes it a hopeless proposition. There would, as soon as industry was commenced, be labour troubles, and the present Government would stand by helpless or unwilling to prevent those troubles; jret the Government is declaring that it intends to foster development of secondary industries ! The thing is absurd, and really is only another instance of the Government shifting ground in the changing circumstances.” —-Mr J. Hargest, M P-, last Tuesday evening at the Town Hall.
