TE RORE HALL
STRONG FINANCIAL POSITION. (Our Own Correspondent.) The annual meeting of the Te Rore Hall Association (Inc.) was held recently in the hall. The 1 report and balance sheet showing a credit of <£ss was adopted. The chairman, in reviewing the past year’s work, referred to the splendid assistance rendered to the Hall Committee by the Social and Sports Clubs and Flower Show, etc. He added that the committee will take the necessary steps at an early date to pay off the small remaining debt on the Hall property. The election of officers resulted: President, Mr J. G. Butterworth; vicepresident, Mr H. J. Coxhead; secretary, Mr W. C. McKinnon; treasurer, Mr L. Rice; committee, Messrs G. Finn, A. Bell, L. Godfrey, G. Bell, F. C. Allcock.
