TE AWAMUTU LADIES’ CLUB. DRAW FOR BOGEY MATCH. Following is the draw for a bogey match to be played on Saturday by week-end members:— Miss Montefiore v. Miss Doxvney. Miss Blackbourn v. Miss Manson. Miss L. Kerr v. Mrs R. Clarke. Miss V. Holt v. Miss H. Garvey. C-GRADE MEDAL ROUND. The draw for a C-Grade medal round ovc/r 18 holes, commencing at the 10th tec, is as follows: Mrs E. Short v. Miss A. McLean. Miss Christie v. Miss Archibald. Miss K. Kerr v. Miss M. Pollard. Miss Palmer v. Miss Germann. Miss Marcussen v. Mrs Brian Taylor. Miss P. Blackburn v. Miss Chillingworth. THE TE AWAMUTU CLUB. COMPETITIONS ARRANGED. The Te Awamutu Golf Club has arranged to hold an 18-hole medal competition on Saturday next. This event will be run in two divisions, namely: seniors with 14 handicap or under; juniors with 15 handicap or over. Playt-rs are requested to choose their own partners and may play in two, three or four balls. Mr G. N. Newton has presented the club with a cup for annual competit’on and the committee has decided that it will be presented to the player returning the five best net scores during the season in the medal events. Last week’s Stableford bogey match was won-by J. Neilson, 21 —18—39. LOCHIEL CLUB. CHALMERS WINS JONES CUP. Members of the Lochiel Golf Club played two medal rounds for club trephies over the week-end. In the A grade the play was for the Jones Cup and the winner was A. S. Chalmers with a net score of 146 over the two rounds. Other good cards were E. N. Peacocke and H. J. Nieper 149, and P. R. Lee 152. In the B grade, for the Forsythe Cup. the best net cards were C. A. Morton 141, W. Williams 148, V. G. McNairn 155, J. P. Walker 157. In the C grade, for a club trophy, the best gross cards were E. J. Lynch 201. L. Edmonds 209, L. N. Montieth and A. J. Denz 216, M. V. West 219, A. W. Morrow 220, S. J. Walker 221.
