Mr and Mrs R. L. Hancock and family of Mokoia (Taranaki), arc at present visiting Mr and Mrs E. W. Hancock, of Young Street. The engagement is announced between Ann Ayson, daughter of Mr and Mrs F. Duncan, 30a Silma Crescent, Wellington, and Fredrick Grant Johnson, of Otorohanga, only son of Mr and Mrs W. G. Johnson, Moehau, Kamo. Mr F. Branch has returned from Whangarei, having disposed of his house there prior to taking up his residence in Te Awamutu. Mr Branch, who is one of New Zealand’s leading golfers, has been engaged by Te Awamutu, Cambridge and Taumarunui as professional golf coach.
