FRANKTON SALE. Messrs Dalgety and Company. Limited, report having held their usual weekly stock sale at Frankton saleyards yesterday, as under:— Sheep: A small yarding of both wethers and ewes came forward, and selling- under a guarantee, sold readily, wethers being fully-3s to 4s better than last week. Medium fat wethers 30s to 32s 6d; light fat wethers 27s 6d to 28s 3d; medium fat ewes 16s to 18s 3d; No fat lambs were yarded. Cattle: A medium yarding of fat bullocks and cows sold at slightly better than late rates. Medium weight fat bullocks £lO 15s to £lO 17s 6d; light fat bullocks £JO 5s to £lO 10s; heavy fat Jersey cows £7 to £7 15s; others £5 5s to £6 7s 6d; fat Jersey heifers £6 5s to £6 10s; forward conditioned 3A year Polled Angus steers £9 to £lO Is; heavy boner cows £3 15s to £4 ss; others £2 10s to £2 15s. Pigs: A medium yarding of fat pigs came forward and prices were firmer than last week. Store pigs were penned in fair numbers and prices were firmer than last week.
