HOUSING SCHEME
PROPOSALS FOR TE AWAMUTU. TEN OR TWELVE HOUSES. It was stated at to-day’s meeting of the Te Awamutu Electric Power Board that advices have been received from the Director of Housing Construction that the Department intends to erect ten or twelve houses in Te Awamutu under the State Housing Scheme. Steps are being taken for ihe acquisition of land for the purpose. The Director had added that lie was not yet in a position to state when construction will be commenced.
