COBALT EXPERIMENTS
OFFICIALS VISIT AROHENA. On Tuesday a visit of inspection of the stock under treatment at Arohena with cobalt was made by Dr C. M. Hopkirk, officer in charge of the Department of Agriculture’s veterinary laboratory at Wallaceville; in company with Mr Exor, officer in charge of the Commonwealth Laboratory, hear Sydney, and Mr D. Marshall, M.R.C.V.S., of Hamilton. The stock under treatment were carefully examined, and the visitors expressed a very keen interest in the progress of the experiments, which, we learn, are to be extended by treating the land with the cobalt mixture.
