TE AWAMUTU STOCK SALE. Dalgety and Company Limited, report having held their usual triweekly stock sale at Te Awamutu on Thursday, as under:—Sheep.—There was a moderate yarding of sheep which sold at ftall late rates. Fat wethers 28s 64 to 30s; fat ewes 245; fat lambs 24s to 25s 1,1 d; store lambs 14s 4d to 18s; cull lambs 10s 4d; 95 breeding ewes in lamb to S.D. and Rom. The yarding of pigs comprised chiefly porkers with a few light and medium baconers. AH classes of pigs sold under keen competition and a very satisfactory sale resulted. MORRINSVILLE STOCK SALE. Messrs Dalgety and Company Limited report having held their usual weekly stock sale at Morrinsville on Friday as under:—Sheep.—A moderate yarding. The quality of the yarding was poor consisting principally of aged ewes in lamb and store lambs. Owing to the recent rough weather competition was only moderate. Late rates were obtained. Cattle.—A large yarding of fat and store cattle. There was a good demand for any beef cattle of quality and fleshy cows were also keenly competed for at slightly better prices than have been ruling during the last fortnight. Fat P.A. cows made £7 5s to £7 12s; fat Shorthorn cows £6 to. £6 ss; fat Jersey cows £4 10s to £5 15s; fat Jersey heifers £4 5s to £5 10s; medium fat Jersey cows £3 to £3 17s 6d; heavy boner cows £2. 10s to £2 17s 6d; cull cows 30s to 355; small Polled Angus cows r.w. Polled Angus Bulls £4 12s to £s'3s; yearling Jersey heifers £2 2s 6d to £2 16s. Pigs.— A medium yarding of pigs came forward, comprising chiefly porkers. Full late market quotations were maintained throughout the sale. Messrs Dalg-ety and Company Limited report having held their Ohaupo sale on Friday, where a full yarding of cattle came forward, mostly consisting of fleshy Jersey and Jersey cross cows, which met with keen competition before a good bench of buyers. No heavy fat co-ws were yarded. Light fat Jersey and Jersey cross cows and heifers £4 12s to £5; good fleshy boner cows £3 15s to £4 7s 6d; boner cows £2 2s to £3 12s, according to weight and condition; potter bulls £3 5s to £5 4s; light ifat Jersey steers £3 15s; medium fat lambs £1 2s 6d. CLEARING SALE AT PUKEKURA. The Farmers’ Co-op. Auctioneering Co. Ltd. report having held a clearing rale on Friday on account of Mr W. Kells, -Pukekura, when his whole herd of 32 Jersey cows was offered to a good attendance of buyers. The herd, which came forward in good condition, included a fair proportion of young early calvers, which met with brisk competition, firm values resulting. Matured and later calvers sold well. The usual offering of sundries, which were in good order, also met with a ready sale. Realisations were:—Choice young Jersey cows early calvers £lO 10s to £ll 10s, others £8 to £lO, Friesian cows early calvers £7 10s to £B, others £6 to £7, older and later calvers £4 10s to £5 10s, aged brown mare £l6 10s. MORRINSVILLE STOCK SALE. New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co. Ltd. report as follows on their Morrinsville stock sale, held on Friday: Cattle: The entry of fats and stores was rather smaller than customary, although a fair proportion were medium to good quality. Under brisk competition prices were well maintained at ruling levels. All sold freely. The advertised dairy herd came forward in fair order and attracted keeiT interest. A very good sale resulted, all changing hands under lively competition at most satisfactory prices. We quote: Good quality fat cows £4 12s fid to £5 18s, medium conditioned £3 17s 6d to £4 10s, light and fat Jerseys £3 5s to £3 15s, good store cows £2 12s 6d to £3 ,2s 6d, boners up to £2 10s, bulls up to £6 10s, good young in calf Jersey dairy cows £7 10s to £8 10s, medium due early £6 5s to £7 10s, plainer £5 to £6.
