GOOD SPORT NEVERTHELESS. (Our Resident Representative.) Despite the heavy and almost continuous rain during last week-end generous bags of game have been secured by visiting, district, and local sportsmen in the Otorohanga area. The weather has been against pheasant shooting, as these birds remain in cover during wet days Nevertheless fair bags of pheasant have been secured by the aid of good dogs. Almost all guns have secured splendid bags of grey duck, pukeko, and Californian • quail. A number of guns secured thp limit bag of grey duck.
