Samp son, chairman of the Waikato County Council, the pair of sterling gilt, sil ter scissors with which he cut the ribbon at the opening ceremony of the Fairfield bridge on Monday. "It is a gift that will be handed down to my children,” said the Minister, “in the hope that it will inspire them to do worthwhile things for others.”
