Mr Ernie Clark, the Canterbury farmer who recently flew from England to New Zealand, has decided to give up farming for aviation. “ I have just returned from Wellington, where I saw the Prime Minister and the Controller of Civil Aviation,” he told a Christchurch inquirer. “As 1 wish to give my undivided" attention to aviation I shall probably sell my farm at Waikare in the near future.” Mr Clark would say no more about his plans, except that he thought he would stay in New Zealand, with his headquarters at Christchurch.
