WAIPA GUN CLUB
MONTHLY SHOOT ON SATURDAY. The Waipa Gun Club held its monthly shoot on Saturday afternoon under ideal weather conditions. The targets were fast, and the shooting consequently somewhat below standard. In the first shoot, six birds, ten members competed, the winner proving to be L. Zimmerman, with H. Maclean second. The second shoot was for the C.A.C. trophy, ten birds, and eight competed. T. Hall won with nine birds, H. Steer and L. Zimmerman dividing the second honours with eight each. In the third shoot, six birds, there were eleevn competitors, and W. Boggiss did best with five birds, Steer and Zimmerman again dividing second honours with four each. The Club now has a good membership, and has affiliated with the New Zealand Gun Clubs’ Association
