Public Notices. THE LAND AND INCOME TAX (ANNUAL) ACT, 1936. LAND TAX PAYABLE. J> Y 'Order in Council, made and issued by His Excellency the G?sy-ernor-General in Council on the 9th dav of October, 1936, under the authority of the above Act, it was determined that the duty by way of land tax leviable under the said Act should be paid in one sum on THURSDAY, the sth day of November, 1936, at the office of the Commissioner of Taxes, Government Buildings, Wellington, C.l; and, in accordance with such Order in Council, I hereby give notice that the said duty will be payable accordingly. Additional tax will accrue if the tax ik not paid on or before 26th November, 1936. The liability to pay is not suspended by any objection. The tax should be paid oh or before the prescribed date, otherwise the additional percentage accrues; any over-payment will be adjusted by refund. The demands will be posted from the office of the Commissioner of Taxes on or about 31st October, 1936. Usual 6.10 a.m. Te Kuiti-Frankton train leaves Te Kuiti 7.30 a.m., Hangatiki 7.47, Otorohanga 8.10, Te Kawa 8.42, Te Awamutu 9.10, Ohaupo 9.31’, Frankton Junction arrive 9.56 a.m., connecting with train leaving Frankton for Cambridge at 10.23 a.m. (Racecourse arrive 11.8 a.m.) Return train stopping at all stations if required for passengers leaves Frankton for Te Kuiti 6.35 p.m. after connecting with special train leaving Racecourse 5.43 p.m. FARES.—Day excursion tickets to CAMBRIDGE will be issued from Te Kuiti and intermediate stations on MONDAY, 26th October. These tickets will be available on the outward journey only by the 7.30 a.m. Te Kuiti-Frankton train and connecting train to Cambridge, and on the return journey by the 5.43 p.m. race special and the 6.35 p.m. Frankton-Te Kuiti train.
