BOWLING
TE AWAMUTU V. MATAMATA. Saturday afternoon saw the Victoria Park bowling greens a very animated and interesting spectacle, for Te Awamutu Bowling Club had as visitors seven rinks of players from the Matamata Club and half a dozen members of the lately-formed Ohaupo Club, besides some other visitors. All were accorded a hearty welcome. The inter-club contest between Te Awamutu and Matamata ended in victory for the home team with an aggregate of 165 points to Matamata’s 116.
