Ltd., Hamilton, report as follows on their Frankton stock sale, held on Tuesday:—Cattle: Recent price levels for beef cattle were maintained. The entry was a medium one and all classes were fairly well represented. Competition was also steady for heavier numbers than usual of paddock and store and bonercows. Medium class sheep did not share in the improvement to the extent that those in better condition did. However, values were very stable. Competition was spirited throughout, and last week’s values were maintained for heavy baconers and porkers, medium baconers selling at slightly advanced rates.
