POPULAR "MEMBERS OF STAFF. On Saturday last the combined staffs of the N.Z. Dairy Co.’s local butter and dried milk factories assembled to farewell Miss Aileen Roberts who has been on the office staff for several years and has resigned her position. Mr A. Todd in asking Miss Roberts to accept a dainty coffee set from the factory staff and herd testing officers expressed the regret of all at her resignation but hoped the gift that carried with it the esteem and best wishes of all would remind her of her former fellow-employees and of the good will that had always existed between the factory and office staff. Messrs H. E. Roberts and E. White, also spoke testifying to Miss Roberts’ popularity and quality of her work. Miss Roberts in a neat speech thanked the staffs for the beautiful gift and kindly expressions of goodwill that accompanied it. Opportunity was also taken to make a presentation to Mr H. Ward, who lias been transferred to Waihou. Mr A. H. Roberts presented Mr Ward with an oak tea-waggon on behalf of the combined staffs and wished him success in the future. Mr Ward suitably replied.
