POSITION IN TE AWAMUTU DISTRICT.

The question of the consolidation of Hairini school on Te Awamutu was considered last night by a largely attended meeting of householders at Hairini. Mr G. S. Hall was in the chair.
After discussion Mr Wallace Hodgson moved that the Hairini school consolidate on Te Awamutu, and that the Committee be instructed to take the necessary steps to bring the consolidation about at the earliest opportunity. This was carried with only one dissentient.
