PERFECT DRESS
What is the most sensible of all costumes for a woman? The flowing sari worn by Indian women fulfils all the requirements of the perfect garment, according to the Begum Aga Khan, beautiful French wife of the Aga Khan, who has been expressing her views on the subject. “I simply adore saries,” site said in an interview in Madras. “They are so dainty and graceful. For modesty and grace there is nothing to equal them. Therefore, I consider the Indian sari is the best costume for women. I wear them often myself.” Asked if there was any truth in reports that the Aga Khan proposes to have a house in England, the Begum said: “Why should we think of having a house of our own there? We go to England often, and we stay in hotels.”' She added: “We have a house in Paris, and another in the South of France, besides our houses in India.” The Begum is in Madras during a tour of South India, says Reuter.
