(AS REPORTED IN THE WAIPA POST OF 9th JUNE, 1911.) Mr W. G. Camp, for some years on the staff at Te Awamutu railway station, has received word of his transfer to Waihi. Mr Taylor, from Auckland, succeeds him at Te Awamutu. Mr J. Farrell, architect to Auckland Education Board, inspected the Te Awamutu school on Wednesday with members of the school committee and the headmaster. Mr F. D. Wood. Plans were considered for the levelling of the playing area at the back of the school. .A committee was appointed on Wiednesday at a public meeting to arrange local celebrations on Coronation Day. Rev. F. W. Clarke is chairman. At the Town Board meeting Mr J. Bathurst threatened to take proceedings for the recovery of £3O overpaid license fees for the Commercial Hotel, Te Awamutu. At the same meeting of the Board Mr Teasdale and Dr Henderson applied for levels in regard to buildings about to be erected in Alexandra Street. Twenty ratepayers by petition asked that a footpath be formed in Alexandra St. Mr A. Hyde resigned from the Board. Korakonui settlers met on Saturday to decide on the site for a new district hall.
