WAIPA RUGBY UNION
MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE MEETS.
Mr H. Worthington presided at the weekly meeting of the Waipa Rugby Union management committee lust Monday evening, and also ipresent were Messrs G. Reynolds, T. Naylon, and H. T. Haselden (secretary). (Notification was received that two players had been placed on the insurance fund as a result of injury sustained last week, and one player, injured earlier, had been declared off the fund.
Taupiri Unions’ challenge for the Cucksey Cup was received, and referred to the Junior Advisory Board.
The Kawhia Union wrote requesting Waipa to send a representative team to Kawhia this season. —After consideration it was decided to offer Saturday, 22nd August, as a suitable date.
The Junior Advisory Board asked for, and was granted, a set of representative jerseys for the third grade trial game next Saturday. It was decided to meet fortnightly in future from 22nd June.
