OTOROHANGA CLUB’S ANNUAL MEETING
Mr E. W. Tozer (Kio Kio), presided at the annual meeting of the Otorohanga Bowling Club. The balancesheet showed a small debit of £1 19s Bd, and an overdraft of £74. The present membership is 43. Trophies won during the season were presented to the following players: Championship, Mr R. E. Pilkington; Tozer Pairs, Messrs. F. Hunter and J. Turnbull; President’s Handicap, J. Sing (Puketarata). The election of officers resulted:— Patron, Mr S. J. Fortescue; president, Mr E. W. Strawbridge; senior vicepresident, Mr R. Bell; vice-presidents, Messrs. J. Sing, and J. Turnbull; secretary and treasurer, Mr G. A. Jackson; green superintendent, MJ E. W,. Tozer; executive committee, Messrs. F. Hunter, G. H. Fry and R. E. Pilkington; auditor, Mr E. T. Gorton; match committee, M'essrs. Porter, Pilkington and E. W. Tozer. In recognition of the good work done by the green-keeper, Mr J. McIlvor, he was presented with a cheque from the Club. Messrs. R. F. Park, C. Langkilde and G. A. Jackson were appointed a social committee.
