When the retrial of Eric Mareo, the Auckland musician, found guilty of the murder of his Wife by the administration of veronal poison, opens m the Auckland Supreme Court on Monday of next week it is likely that Mr Justice Ostler will be the trial judge. Mr Justice Fair, who conducted the first trial, leaves next week to preside at the criminal sessions of the Hamilton Supreme Court, and after that he will go to Wellington to attend sittings of the Court of Appeal. Mr Justice Ostler and Mt Justice Callan will deal with the business of the Auckland Supreme Court. Summonses for the trial'of Mareo have been issued to 60 jurors.
