AMONG YOGIS
PLANS OF MAJOR YEATS-BROWN Major Yeats-Brown, author of “Bengal Lancers” is on his way by air to Karachi. From there he will travel north, and for a few months will disappear. He will be the guest of Dr. E. Stanley Jones at his new hermitage on an icy mountain slope near the Himalayas. There he will wear the traditional mystic garb—loin cloth and shirt, and will eat mountain fruits and the simplest native diet. It is a spot for all Himalayan Yogis to meet Western mystics and peo pie interested in Yoga and mystic ism.
Major Yeats-Brown is recognised as one of the few Europeans to mas ter the art of Indian mysticism. He will meet Himalayan Yogis who are reputed to be the most wonderful men in the world, and hear from 150-years-old men strange tales of life far from civilisation.
On his return Major Yeats-Brown wil Iwrite a Himalayan diary.
