A LONG JOURNEY
TWO FAITHFUL cats. Tabby and Tom, two cats belonging to Mr Malcolm Hill of Johannesburg, were left in a good home when he moved to Parys, about 60 miles away, for he gave them to his son. Ait seemed to be going well, but a month later news came from Johannesburg that both cats had disappeared. Several weeks passed, and one day tom and Tabby appeared outside the door of .Mr Hill’s new home at Parys. At first he hardly recognised them, so thin had they grown, and their once fluffy coats were cpvered with mud f With them were six kittens with bedraggled tails, piteously mewing. As soon as the mother cat saw Mr Hill she sprang on his shou|der and purred her delight at finding him after 60 miles of wandering.
