BANANA NUT CREAM.
Soak 2 tablespoonsful of powdered gelatine in i cupful of cold water. Beat the whites of 2 eggs slightly, add 2 pz of castor sugar, and gradually i of a cupful of hot milk. Cook over hot water until the mixture is thick enough to coat the back of the spoon; add soaked gelatine and a little more sugar if required. Strain into a basin, add 4 bananas mushed to a pulp, then fold in i pint of whipped crqam. Pour into a cut glass bowl. Garnish with chopped almonds.
