PERSONAL
Mr and Mrs Hesketh returned last week to Te Aroha after a trip to the Old Country. A brief account of the trip will appear in our next issue. In our last issue a personal item appeared stating that Mr E. H. Edmonds had resigned from the secretaryship to the Te Aroha Co-operat-ive Terminating Building Society owing to the state of his health. The reason for the resignation, as given in the News, was not, it appears, correct. Mr Edmonds is enjoying better health at present than at any time since his return from the war, and he resigned from the Building Society because the time and attention he was giving the Society’s affairs was required for other and more profitable work.
