RAINFALL
RECORDS AT BELLE VUE FARM Miss Strange, of Belle Vue Farm, Mangaiti, has supplied us with the following figures showing the rainfall as recorded by her for the month of September. Rain fell on 23 days, and the total fall was 5.32 inches. The average for September for the past eight years was 3.6 inches. The total rainfall for the past'-nine months of the present year was 33.77 inches, and the average for the first nine months for the past eight years was 25.81 inches.
