BRITAIN’S MOST SOBER PEOPLE.
People who live on the Romney Marsh, Kent, may claim to be the most sober people in Britain. At the licensing sessions, recently, the police superintendent said there was no record of any case of drunkenness in one of the divisions.
' In the other division there had not been any conviction for drunkenness for eight years. The district includes Dymchurch, a seaside resort visited by thousands of people every summer.
