FORESTERS’ LODGE
HALF-YEARLY MEETING The half-yearly meeting of the Te Aroha Foresters’ Lodge was held on Wednesday evening, there being a large attendance of members. The following officers were installed by the district secretary, Bro. Darlow:—C. R., Bro. C. Jennings; S.C.R., Bro. Savill; S.W., Bro. Kennedy; J.W. Bro T. Burmester; 5.8., Bro. Hogan; secretary and treasurer, Bro. E. H. Edmonds. Bro. Jennings was unanimously re-elected as C.R. in appreciation of his past successful services.
An address of welcome was tendered the district secretary, Bro. Darlow, by Bro. A. J. Burows, P.C.R., who refered to the many years of useful service rendered Forestry by Bro. Darlow. 1 After which a hearty vote of thanks for his visit was caried by acclamation. All present were entertained at supper, when the usual toasts were honored.
