TE AROHA BOROUGH COUNCIL ABATTOIR LOAN OF £SOOO NOTICE is hereby given that at a special meeting of the Te Aroha Borough Council held on Wednesday, the 10th day of September, 1924, the following resolution was passed, and will be submitted for confirmation at the ordinary meeting of the Council to be held on Wednesday, the Bth day of October, 1924, at 7.30 p.m., at the Council Chambers, Rewi Street, Te Aroha. RESOLUTION In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Municipal Corporations Act, 1920,” “The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1913,” and “The Slaughtering and Inspection Act, 1908,” the Te Aroha Borough Council hereby resolves by way of special order, as follows: — That for the purpose of establishing an abattoir under Section 5 of “The Slaughtering - and Inspection Act, 1908,” the Te Aroha Borough Council hereby authorises the raising of a loan of £SOOO at a rate of interest not exceeding 6 per cent, per annum. The proposed security for the loan is a special rate of three pence in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of annual value) of all rateable property in the Borough of Te Aroha. The loan is to be repayable in 36i years. Provision is to be made for a Sinking Fund of £1 per centum per annum. It is proposed to pay out of the loan the cost, charges, and. expenses of raising the loan, also the interest and sinking fund for the first yeav. Dated this 11th day of September,' 1924. FRED. WM.
