Mrs H. W. Dalton is at present on a visit to Te Awamutu as the guest of Mr and Mrs A. Reece.
Miss Lily Elder has been appointed domestic science instructress at the Waihi and Te Aroha Manual Schools.
Mrs Pickford, of Woodville, who has been on a visit to Te Aroha for some weeks, intends to return on Friday.’
Mr C. E. Macmillan, M.P., visited Waharoa on Monday to be present at the official opening of the new post office in that towri.
The Rev. R. M. Ryburn, M.A., who has been conducting the services in St. David’s Presbyterian Church for the last three Suridays left Te Aroha by the express --last night. Mr Ryburn’s home is in Christchuj'ch.
Mr P. Ackerman, of Sydney, is at present on a visit to Te Aroha. He intends making a tour of the Dominion. Speaking to our reporter, Mr Ackerman expressed the opinion that Te Aroha, with its mineral baths, domain, mountain; and river scenery was one of the most attractive places he had visited, and predicted that Te Aroha will be a Very large town when its attractions become better known.
