ELSTOW DRAINAGE BOARD NOTICE OF INTENTION TO RAISE SPECIAL LOAN OF £30,000 NOTICE is hereby given in terms of Section 9 of “The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1913,” that is it proposed by the Elstow Drainage Board to raise under the said Act a Special Loan for and in connection with the constructing, providihg and establishing drainage works within the meaning of and pursuant to “The Land Drainage Act, 1908,” for the benefit of the Awaiti Special Rating Area of the Board’s District. The sum proposed to be borrowed is £30,000. The Board proposes to appropriate a pledge as a security for this loan and (.interest a special rate on a graduated scale according to classification under “The Lands Drainage Act, 1908,” and its Amendments, of the rateable property within the Awaiti Special Rating Area aforesaid upon the unimproved rateable value thereof, Class (A) B|d per £, Class (B) Old pet £, and /Class (C) 4|d per £. It is proposed that the said loan shall be repayable at the expiration of thirty-six and one-half years from the Ist day of April, 1924, and that a sinking fund shall be provided of one per cent, per annum.
