hungahunga drainage BOARD RATES 1923—24 Notice is hereby given in terms of “Section 50 of the Rating Act, 1908,” that it is the intention of the Hungahunga Drainage Board at its meeting to be held in Te Aroha on SATURDAY, the 10th day of November, 1923, at noon, to make and levy under Section 31 of the “Land Drainage Act, 1908,” and Sections 3 and 4 of the “Land Drainage Amendment Act, 1913,” a General rate upon'the unimproved value and on a graduated scale according to classification of land in the Hungahunga Drainage District as follows: - Within the Manawaru, Wairere, Waiwero, Piraunui, Central Waihekau and Southern Waihekau Sub-di-visions—Upon lands classified “A” l|d, upon lands classified “B” lid, and upon lands classified “C” Id. Within the Northern Waihekau Sub-division —Upon lands classified “A” Id, upon lands classified “B” id, and upon lands classified “C” id. All per £ on the rateable value for the period from' the Ist day of April, 1923, to the 31st day of March, 1924. To levy special annual recurring interest rates on (1) A loan of £3073 19s 5d over a part of the dis-. trict as follows:—On “A” lands id, upon “B” lands l-16th of a penny, upon “C” lands l-32nd of a penny. (2) On a loan of £4512 5s 2d over a part of the district, upon “A” lands id, upon “B” lands id, upon “C” lands l-16th of a penny, and (3) On a loan of £4950 over a part of the district, upon “A” lands Od, upon “B” lands id, and upon “C” lands id. (4) On a loan of £4950 over a special rating area (Southern), on “A” lands l'id, upon “B” lands lid, and upon “C” lands Id. (5) On a loan of £IOOO over a special rating area (Wairere), on “A” land! id, “B” lands id, “C” lands id. (6) _on, a loan of £1430 over a special rating area (Wairere No. 2), on “A” lands Id, on “B” lands id, onJ‘C” lands id. (7) On a loan of £SOOO over a special rating area (South Waihekau), upon “A” lands lid, upon “B” lands lid, and-upon “C” lands Id. (8) On a loan of £3500 over a special rating area (Waiwero), on “A” lands 2d, on “B” lands lid, “C” lands Id. (9) On a loan of £IOOO over a special rating area (Piraunui), on “A” lands gd, on “B” lands id, on “C” lands id, (10) On a loan of £4OO over the Waihekau’s Boai'd area, on “A” lands lid, on “B” lands id. The abovementioned rates to be in one sum to the undersigned on the 24th day of November, 1923, at the office of the Board, Council Chambers, Rewi street, Te Aroha, where the Valuation Roll and Ratepayers’ list are now open for inspection.
