Mr Ellis proceeded to Rotorua to inspect' forestry operations there. The Rosedale Woollen Mills, Invercargill, were destroyed by fire on Saturday morning. The damage is estimated at £30,000. The stock, plant and buildings were insured for £36,000. A portion of the stock was saved, though the buildings and valuable plant were destroyed.
