LOST IN THE BUSH

LITTLE CHILD STRAYS * Some little excitement and a good deal of anxie ( ty was occasioned on Sunday at Wardville in consequence of a daughter of Mr Schaar getting lost in the bush. From the particulars which we have beeen able to gather it appears that Mr Schaar and family went into the bush at the back of Mr O’Shea’s property. By some means his little daughter, who is about nine years of age, wandered from the main party, and it was some little time before she was missed. An alarm was immediately given and about forty persons joined in the search but without result, and it was not until yesterday morning between eight and nine o’clock that the child was found, very little the worse for her experience of a night in the bush.
