MORRINSVILLE RETURNS GOOD SUPPLIES MAINTAINED The prospects for this dairying season continue to appear very encouraging. Most of the factories are now working at full capacity to cope with the contiually increasing supplies. The grass is now coming away well, and there appears to be plenty of feed in the pastures. In two out of three cases under review there have been increases in supplies during the past month as against; a similar period last year, but a decrease in advance payments to suppliers has ben noticed, while in the other case the supplies have been less but the payments so much greater that the suppliers have found themselves much better off with less production. The following are the figures for September of this year, the figures for September, 1922, being given in parentheses:— TATUA Milk, 1,476,6121 b (1,460,7041 b), but-ter-fat, 52,2331 b (51,5981 b); payment at 1/4 (1/5), £3482/4/- (£3655/5/6); average test, 3.5 (3.5).
