FASHION DISPLAY
LIVE MODEL PARADE POSTPONED UNTIL THIS ,EVENING Owing to the inclement weather on Friday evening last Caudwells Ltd. were compelled to postpone the Live Model Fashion Parade which was to have taken place. i Everything was in readiness up to the time for the parade, but as the night was very' windy, with driving rain, it was decided that the best policy would be to postpone the display until this (Tuesday) evening. Seeing that the audience had to stand outside, and large numbers of ladies, who were anxious to see the parade were unable to attend owing to the rain and wind, the decision to postpone the parade was a wise one. The parade will commence at 7.30 p.m. this evening (weather permitting). Some really smart model Costumes and Hats will be worn, besides the latest in Jumpers, Robes, and dress accessories. The special attraction will be the bridal parade, when the latest in spring wedding dresses will be worn. The wedding dress is the work of Caudwell’s new dressmaker, Miss Shepley, who is an artist in high-class dressmaking. Favoured with a fine evening the display will be a huge success, and ladies in particular should not miss this event.
