THEATRE ROYAL, FRIDAY Sardou’s immortal masterpiece “Theodora,” to be screened at the Theatre Roytl to-morrow night, is the most vivid, colorful, gorgeous and picturesque staging of magnificent splendour ever produced for picture audiences. “Wanton! Traitor! Drag her down to the dust!” they shouted. Twenty-five thousand frenzied rebels hurled invective at Theodora, the most beautiful woman in ■ the world. Then as her answer, Theodora turned loose into the arena the horde of hungry lions that were caged in the vaults of the Hippodrome. History cannot produce a more thrilling instance of Imperial wickedness than this act of the great Empress. And it tvas to save the life of her lover, the leader of the rebels.
