Methodist Recreation Clubs’
Match
Two teams, one representing the local Methodist recreation cleb and the other the Te Aroha West c'nb, contested a game of hockey at the Te Aroha recreation ground on Saturday afternoon last. Play was clean, keen, and interesting, with victory going to Te Aroha We ; t by three points to nil. For the . victors P. Harvey scored. Mr Ackerman gave general satisfaction as referee. At the conclusion of the match a dainty afternoon tea was dispensed by lady members of the clnb.
