GERMANS ON THE YSER Rotterdam, December 3 The German wounded from Ghent say that the Allies’ guns do not give them a moment’s rest. The Flanders’ roads, owing to the frost, are almost impassable, and great discomfort prevails in the trenches. Shells pour in like hailstones, and we are outfought and outranged in artillery. The Germans are making great efforts to drain the Yser trenches.
