AT CLAUDELANDS The first totalisator meeting of the Waipa Club held at Claudelands on Saturday was well attended, and the racing was interesting. Following are the results : Maiden Torotoro 1, Master Florence 2, Miss Amans 3. Hurdles —Marconi 1, Hopye 2, Lady Lobelia 3. Waipa Cup—Soldier 1, Tinopai 2, El Gallo 3. Maiden Trot —Selkirk 1, Charley’s Aunt 2, Tim Doolan 3. Ohaupo Handicap—Glen Opal 1, Penniless 2, St. Curio 3. Te Awainutu Handicap —Glenspire 1, Glissando 2, Glittering Sands 3, Paterangi Trot —Hova 1, Eruption 2, Rotomanuka 3. Kihikihi Handicap —Munster mid Hamlet, dead heat, 1 ; Positive 3. The sum of £9,927 passed through the machines.
