Hungahunga drainage DISTRICT SPECIVLORDER AUTHORISING SPECIAL LOAN OF 1 UB JO NOTICE is hereby gi'-en that the Hungahunga Drainage Board at a Special Meeting, held on SATURDAY, November 6tb, 1915, passed a resolution to the following intent, and effect, and such resolution will be submitted for confir mstion at a meeting of the Board; to be held on the 6th day of. DECEMBER, 1915, at 12.30 p.m resolution IN PURSUANCE and in exercise of the powers, and authorities vested in it in that behalf by Section 16 of the Local Bodies Loans Act, 19:3, the Counties Act, 1908, and the amendments thereof, and of all other Acts and powers it in that behalf enabling, and with the written consent of the ratepayers in the Hungahunga Special Bat ing Area, in the Hungahunga Drainage District, hereinafter described, testified by a petition signed by not less than three fourths of the rate, payers in the said rating area, the capital value of whose properties, as appearing on the Valuation Roll of the district is collectively greater than the capital value of the properties of those ratepayers who did not so consent to the raising of the Loan, THE HUNGAHUNGA DRAINAGE BOARD resolves by way of Special Order as follows : For the purpose of construe* - ing new drainage works, viz, To cleanse, deepen, and widen existing watercourses, drains, and outfalls, and to make and construct new water courses, d'ains and outfalls within the area hereinafter described, the Hungahunga Drainage Board hereby authorises the raising of a loan of oo from the New Zealand State Guaranteed Advances Office Super intendeut at Four Pounds ten shillings per centum per annum for a period of thirty-six years and a half, and declares that the cost of raising the loan and of the first years interest and sinking fund during the construction of the work be paid theieout.

SPECIAL RATING AREA ALL that area of land within the Huugahunga Drainage Dstrict commencing at the north-west corner of the"Whakatakataka block, and following in a southerly directi hi, its western line and including the Wairenga section and the Taramoralr No. i Block to the Wardville Road on its south side, then along such road in a westerly direction to the north-west corner of north part of sec. 8, thence following in a southerly direction the western boundary line of sec o/pt 8, s/pt 8,8, 9, pt 9, pt ga, ioo, a/pt and 9a to the south-east c rner of sec. 10 of Whangorau “A ” aud along the north boundary line of the aforesaid sec. 10 to the Rotorua-Aucklaud railway line on its eastern side, which along in a southerly diiectiou to the south boundary of section 13 of the Matamata estate subdivision, thence along such sec. 13 on its southern boundary to the western boundary line of sec. 16, which along in a south easterly direction to the County road, but not including such road, then following the said county road in a north easterly and then a northerly direction to the northern co ner of- sec. 27a thence along the western boundary line of sec. 27a, 27, 26, and 24a to the east corner of sec. 8 of Whangorau “ B.” thence along the north boundary of the aforesaid I sec. 8, the south east corner of Taramoarahi No. 3 and along its eastern boundary to the south east corner of the Wbakatakataka blk, and along the eastern boundary to its north-east corner, thence following the north boundary line in a westerly direction to its north-west corner and the point of commencement.
