TORPEDOED BY SUBMARINE The British Battleship Triumph (11,800 tous) was torpedoed by a submarine and syuk off the Gallipoli peninsula while supp: - ting the New Zealand and Australian forces. The Triumph is the Ru th British battleship sunk in the Dardanelles operations.
