[Extract from New Zealand Gazette, 9th March, 1911. Land taken for a Road in Block VIII, Waitoa Survey District, Ohiiiemuri County. (r.s.) ISLINGTON, Governor. A PROCLAMATION. '\TTLIEREAS the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken, under the Public Works Act, 1908, for a certain public works, to wit, for the purposes of a road in Block VIII, Waitoa Survey District : And whereas the Ohinemuri County Council has laid before the Governor a memorial, accompanied by a map, and also the statutory declaration, as required by the Public Works, Act, 1908 :

j Now, therefore, I, John Poynder ‘ Dickson Poynder, Baron Islington, j the Governor of the Dominion of ; New Zealand, in pursuance and in exercise of the powers and ' authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of ! every other power and authority ] in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the said road ; and I do also hereby declare that : this Proclamation shall take effect | on and after the twenty-seventh day ;of March, one thousand nine j hundred and eleven.
